SILICA GEL with indicator
Orange silica gel is a health-friendly alternative to blue silica gel. The color changes from orange to green depending on the moisture content.
It can be mixed with silica gel without an indicator in a weight ratio of 1:5.
The regeneration temperature should not exceed 140°C, as higher temperatures may damage the indicator (phenolphthalein).
The color change from orange to green occurs at 5-9% relative humidity and is not an indicator of silica gel saturation. Even green silica gel still has a certain adsorption capacity.
