FLAXSEED OIL with driers 5 l
Flaxseed oil is mainly used for protecting wood that is not exposed to weather conditions. Flaxseed oil with driers has additives for drying, so the oil dries in 24 hours.

Flaxseed oil is obtained from flax seeds (Linum usitatissimum):
- by cold pressing,
- by hot pressing
- by extraction
European flaxseed contains up to 30% oil, while East Indian can contain up to 40%. The most important component of flaxseed oil is linolenic acid, which causes the oil to dry in combination with oxygen from the air (oxidative-drying oil). Since flaxseed oil dries relatively slowly (depending on composition and external conditions 5-12 days), drying agents - driers are added to it. Thus, drier flaxseed oil is called flax firn or flaxseed oil with driers. These are cobalt and zirconium salts.
Flax firn usually dries in 24 hours.
Firn (flaxseed oil with driers) is more resistant to moisture than raw flaxseed oil.
