Pouring Method – for Decorative Surfaces

Stabilit Aqua can be poured directly from a watering can, using approximately 1 liter per square meter. For optimal results, ensure an even application of the binder over all the pebbles. The use of a watering head (commonly known as a “rose”) is recommended, as it allows for even distribution. Alternatively, you can drill holes with a diameter of approximately 3 mm in the lid of the Stabilit Aqua container to create a spray effect, allowing for application similar to that of a watering can. When applying, be careful not to let the binder pool in depressions or grooves, as this can significantly extend the drying time.

The system dries transparently on the surface within a few hours after application and reaches its final strength after 72 hours of drying in dry conditions at temperatures above 10 °C. For optimal results, we recommend applying 2 to 3 layers.

Hand Mixing Method – for More Frequently Walked Surfaces

Transfer gravel or sand with a shovel into a durable bucket or container, then slowly add Stabilit Aqua and mix with clean tools or a drill with a mixing head for ceramic adhesives. Once the gravel is evenly saturated with the binder, transfer it to the desired surface and lightly level it with an appropriate trowel to achieve an even appearance. This process can be repeated multiple times – any leftover Stabilit Aqua that remains between individual mixtures can be reused or fresh binder can be added as needed.

Cleaning Tools

For the first 30 minutes, use water; later, use white spirit or nitro thinner.
