GENERAL PROPERTIES

SVARUN VARNISH is made exclusively from renewable plant sources - oils, resins, and additives. Garden furniture treated with it is water-repellent and easy to maintain. SVARUN does not contain UV protection agents. It needs to be applied regularly to avoid the furniture turning gray. The varnish also does not contain fungicides, so the coated wood should not be constantly exposed to moisture.

Areas of use: Protection of garden furniture made of hardwood or softwood.

Color: Transparent

Storage instructions: Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children, in a cool place. Must not freeze.

Usability: At least 3 years with proper storage.

Hazards: Flammable.

SVARUN - TECHNICAL DATA 

Density: approx. 0.89-0.91 g/ml

Viscosity: approx. 12 seconds (DIN cup 4 mm) at 20 degrees C.

Flash point: approx. 46 degrees Celsius

Consumption: 70-100 ml / square meter for one coat on surfaces with average absorbent properties

Drying time: Dry after approx. 3-5 hours at 20 degrees C and average air humidity. Softwood should dry for 1-2 days.

APPLICATION

1. Suitable surfaces: untreated or oiled garden furniture made of softwood or hardwood.

2. Surface preparation: The surface must be dry and clean.

3. Method of use: Apply with a brush. The temperature must be above 8 degrees Celsius. Mix well before use.

4. Thinner: The oil is ready for use. If necessary, use Oranol (up to 20%)

5. Preparation: Scrub resinous and tropical wood with Oranol.

6. Final coat: Evenly apply 2-3 thin layers of SVARUN on the untreated surface of the wood. After each application, remove excess oil after 10-15 minutes with a lint-free cloth. Allow the furniture to dry. For a glossy effect, polish the dry furniture with a linen cloth.

7. Care and maintenance: Do not use aggressive cleaners on coated surfaces. Clean with warm water and mild soap.

8. Renewal: Furniture should be re-coated based on exposure time (once a year recommended for unpigmented surfaces). Clean the wood and sand gray areas with fine sandpaper. Remove oil and grease with Oranol. Apply SVARUN with a brush. Remove excess oil with a lint-free cloth after 10-15 minutes. Allow to dry.

9. Cleaning tools: Immediately clean all tools with Oranol.

10. Safety warning: Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children. This product contains citrus essential oils. Ingestion of the product is dangerous. In rare cases, direct contact with the oil may cause skin irritation and allergic reaction. The area where you work must be well-ventilated. Under certain circumstances, spontaneous combustion of drying oil may occur. Rags used in the application of the varnish must be dried spread out in the air or soaked in water before disposal.

11. Waste disposal: Do not empty into drains. Completely dried varnish residues can be disposed of with household waste. Empty cans can be recycled.
