TEAK OIL
Purpose:
Teak oil is used for the natural protection of outdoor wood. It is suitable for protecting garden furniture, above-water wooden parts of boats, wooden terraces and facades, canopies, and similar items.
Method of use:
Apply the oil in a thin layer with a cloth or brush on a dry, cleaned, and if necessary, sanded wooden surface. After a few minutes, wipe off the excess oil with an absorbent cloth or paper. Before the next application, lightly sand or polish the surface after 24 hours. For long-lasting protection, 2-3 applications are recommended.
Consumption:
One liter covers 5-7 m2 with three applications.
Maintenance coat:
A re-coat is usually needed after 2-3 years; for more heavily used wooden surfaces, it may be needed sooner. For maintenance, a single coat is sufficient.
Cleaning tools:
Clean tools with natural oil from citrus peels ORANOL.
Warning:
Oiled rags can ignite due to the oxidative drying of the oil in the air, so they should be soaked in water or stored in tightly closed metal containers.
