EXPANDA polymer foam 1 kg + 1 kg
EXPANDA is a two-component polymer material that hardens into a very hard surface foam within minutes through an exothermic reaction. From one kilogram of EXPANDA in liquid state, approximately 2.5 liters of hard foam can be obtained through free foaming.
APPLICATION
- furniture parts (upholstered furniture, fillings for chairs and doors)
- prototypes - industrial design - models for modeling
- insulation for pipes, tanks in cooling and heating technology
- casting figures (wood imitation)
- as a filler to achieve unsinkability of boats and other vessels
- making molds
- lightweight sandwich elements (for containers, vessels, construction)
- sound and thermal insulation
- making items for scenography for theater, TV, film
- display mannequins, jewelry stands
PROPERTIES
Density in free foaming - open mold: 400 kg/m3
The hard foam can be painted with all standard paints and coatings.
METHOD OF USE
1/ Thoroughly mix each component in the original packaging.
2/ Weigh the appropriate amount of components and mix them in a container made of PP, PE, metal, or glass.
3/ Pour the mixture into a mold made of silicone rubber, metal, or epoxy resin. The metal or epoxy mold must be pre-coated several times with a release agent V-1 or V-5.
